Nationwide Attorneys, a top Am Law 100 national law firm, is seeking second year law students interested in intellectual property and patent prosecution law in our Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Nashville, and St. Louis offices for our ten-week 2025 Summer Associate Program. Eligible students must have an undergraduate degree in specific science or engineering areas, these can include the following areas: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biotech/life sciences, etc.

Our summer associates will have the opportunity to work alongside our shareholders and associates in our IP department and will receive substantive training in real world legal and business situations for our sophisticated clients. Roles and responsibilities of an IP and Patent Prosecution Summer Associate may include work in many diverse areas that support our client's IP portfolios including but not limited to patent drafting and prosecution, litigation, licensing, opinion work, IPRs, ITC actions, IP portfolio support and strategies, trademarks, copyrights, and support for corporate deal work.

Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with excellent academic credentials, and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. Law journal and/or moot court experience preferred by not required.
