Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Attorney to join our esteemed foreclosure department.n. This role is critical to our operations and requires a solid foundation in general legal principles coupled with specialized experience in litigation, specifically within the realm of foreclosure litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle Mortgage Foreclosure cases independently from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Manage a caseload of foreclosure litigation matters, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Represent clients in court, including conducting trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Maintain regular and detailed communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the highest quality of legal services.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in contested and/or uncontested Foreclosure litigation.
  • Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
  • Proven track record in handling litigation cases from inception through trial.
  • Knowledge of LPS/Black Knight and Tempo is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
