Associate Attorney

Description:

A Honolulu Law Firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our established firm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings, handling the written and oral discovery process by administering records and oral depositions and reviewing documents, filing documents on JEFS and PACER, performing legal research on Lexis, making court appearances and handling mediations and arbitrations, and conduct initial consultations with potential clients Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience and a background in trust and estate law, conservatorships/guardianships, estate planning, probate, conveyancing, business entities, landlord-tenant, and garnishments.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in the State of Hawaii
• Litigation experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills
