Job Purpose:
As a Corporate Associate Attorney, you will support the management of the business and legal interests of our Corporate Legal Team.

Essential Functions:
This is a deputy position that reports to the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer in the support of mergers and acquisitions, legal affairs and strategic initiatives across the following functions:
  • Handle a diverse range of corporate and business matters including mergers and acquisitions, business and legal management and other sophisticated transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Competencies:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing corporate law, with a focus on M&A and sophisticated transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a midsize or large law firm preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as the flexibility and emotional intelligence needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, contracts for service, vendor contracts, and non-compete agreements.?

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher.
  • Law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Candidates must be licensed to practice law in a US state with excellent academic credentials.
