Description:

Our Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance team seeks an associate to join us in our Houston Office. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience and must be admitted and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.

We are interested in candidates who have experience in the following areas, specifically with renewable energy projects:

Debt or equity project financing
Energy Trading
Commercial lending
Power Purchase Agreements
Leasing
Tax Credits
Due diligence for complex transactions on behalf of buyers, sellers, or financing parties (debt or equity)
Project development, construction and operations contracts
Strong candidates with transferred skills and similar project experience in the oil & gas industry will also be considered.

Requirements and Details:

2-3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry at a large law firm with a national reputation or comparable in-house counsel role
Admitted to the Texas state bar of the state in which you reside
Strong academic credentials from top-tier law school
