Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody, and domestic violence proceedings.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on family law regulations and precedents.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
What We Need From You:
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law cases (non-negotiable).
- Evidence of valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.
- Proficiency in tracking billable hours and utilizing technology effectively.
- Strong multitasking abilities and resilience under pressure.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and dependability.
