Description:
Qualifications:The successful International Trade Associate candidate will have the following background:
- A Juris Doctor from top-ranked law school, required;
- Familiarity with the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), International Traffick in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”), OFAC Regulations; Foreign Trade Regulations (“FTR”); Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”) regulations, etc.;
- Experience working with U.S. Government trade agencies including OFAC, BIS, Census, CBP, DDTC, etc.;
- Proven keen interest in international trade laws and regulations with 2 -3 years of relevant experience;
- Experience with and knowledge of the banking system, logistics, e-commerce or AI technology, preferred;
- Academic or professional background in international relations or international affairs preferred;
- Mandarin Chinese, Russian, or Arabic language skills, preferred;
- Licensed in one of the 50 U.S. states or District of Columbia, required;
- Willing and able to travel internationally on short notice;
- Able to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines and adapt to quickly evolving situations;
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication when working with clients and government regulators;
- Sharp attention to detail is a must; and
