A Law Firm is a boutique immigration law firm located in Arlington, VA. The law firm is seeking a passionate and self-motivated junior associate to assist lawyers in handling all aspects of immigration law, ranging from family sponsorships, extreme hardship waivers, removal defense work, to national interest waivers, aliens of extraordinary ability, multinational managers/executive, and treaty investment visas, etc. The firm has an extensive business immigration practice representing educational institutions, IT companies, and institutional clients in PERM labor certification processes, H-1B, O-1, etc. The principal attorney of the firm, Mr. Michael Lin, is seeking to slow down and would like to bring in a junior associate who will work with Mr. Lin and his partner, Ms. Kendall Niles, on a wide spectrum of immigration cases. Job Description:
This is a full-time junior associate position. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting consultation with potential clients, legal research, preparation of immigration applications and legal briefs, etc. You will represent clients in various immigration matters before the USCIS, DOJ, and EOIR. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively advocate for clients' interests.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of current immigration law, policies, and regulations
  • Experience in removal defense, family based immigration, and/or business immigration matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in any state bar association
  • At least two years of immigration related experience
