The Labor and Employment Team at A Full-Service Business Law Firm is looking for a Labor & Employment Associate with counseling experience to join their highly successful team in our San Diego or Del Mar Heights office. Consider this opportunity to join a dynamic practice at an AmLaw 200 Firm providing professional growth opportunities, substantial client contact, and practice development support. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience counseling employers regarding issues such as medical leaves and accommodations, disciplinary actions, wage and hour issues, and terminations as well as experience drafting basic employment policies, procedures, and agreements. Experience with public entity clients and/or charter schools is a plus.Our associates must be able to independently research and analyze employment law issues and anticipate client needs. We're looking for creative problem solvers who are eager to collaborate across practice areas. This position requires California bar admission and excellent academic credentials. Qualified candidates must have strong writing, verbal, analytical and research skills. Typical salary range is from $145,000 to $230,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
