The Life Sciences & Health Industry Group of Reed Smith is looking to hire a Mid-Level Associate to join the Chicago office. This nationally recognized, industry focused group represents healthcare providers and platforms in both human and animal health, including compounding pharmacies/outsourcing facilities, telehealth providers, drug distributors, and third party logistics providers throughout the United States, on a wide range of cutting edge matters, including litigation with state boards and other federal entities, governmental inspections and investigations, transactions, general compliance/regulatory advice, and seminal industry issues.The
Chicago office regularly represents healthcare facilities in
high-stakes Federal Food and Drug Administration, (FDA), Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA), and state agency investigations and
related litigation, as well as acts as regulatory counsel for
large-scale, high-profile transactions involving major healthcare
players in the compounding space. Candidates can expect to receive a
significant amount of responsibility and client interaction early on as
well as mentoring and professional development. Reed Smith values

Successful
candidates should have at least 2-4 years of law firm experience in
healthcare, excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research,
analytical and verbal communication skills.
Pay Range:
$235,000 - $365,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and
high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may
vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and
experience.
