Our Natural Resources group represents clients in complex litigation, administrative proceedings, and transactions pertaining to water quality and water rights, hazardous waste contamination, mining, oil and gas, public lands, and air quality.

The Denver office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has an immediate opening for a natural resources associate with 2-5 years' experience in natural resources law, with experience in and an emphasis on general environmental practice, including federal environmental law.

Ideal candidates will have experience in the following areas of natural resources law: NEPA, ESA, CAA, CWA, BLM leasing, USFS permitting, natural resources litigation, industry experience in energy, infrastructure development and use, agency rulemaking, and administrative enforcement proceedings. Qualified candidates will have an excellent academic record, strong writing, analytical, and public presentation skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with clients, agency officials, and the public.
