The Position:At A Full-Service Law Firm, we are looking to add a Mid-Level Associate with 3-6 years of experience to our Corporate, Venture Capital and Emerging Growth team, “Venture Best” (https://www.venturebest.com/). The associate will be located in our Austin office.

What We Look For: Our ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, and will have experience representing startups and/or institutional investors in venture capital and emerging company transactions, mergers and acquisitions, startup formation, and general corporate governance, as well as experience working with specialists in tax, intellectual property, employment and other specialist areas. Experience in licensing and technology transactions and/or securities is a plus. The candidate must treat all colleagues with mutual support and respect.

- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3+ years of corporate or transactional experience
- Strong drafting and organizational skills
- The ability to interact directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
