Our growing, fast-paced, firm has an immediate opening for results-oriented litigation associate for its Miami Office .Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with available support from supervising attorney; must have excellent communication and writing skills. Training will be provided for first year associates and/or candidates not well versed in first and third party litigation.
Candidate will become an integral part of a collaborative culture with extended support from a large dedicated team of staff and attorneys. Responsibilities will include taking and defending depositions, responding to discovery and pleadings, preparing for/arguing hearings on full range of issues related to homeowners' cases, and will actively train to argue dispositive hearings.
The firm handles homeowners' cases from the claim reporting stage all the way through appeal, if necessary.

Job Requirements:
- Florida Bar Admission/Member in Good Standing
- 1 to 2 years of first party and/or third-party insurance litigation experience
- Admission in other jurisdictions is a plus
- Must be willing to learn how to conduct legal analysis of issues and become intimately knowledgeable of applicable case law and statutes
- Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with attorneys and clients
- Must be bilingual – Spanish.
