- Represent clients in court for reckless driving and DUI cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop case strategies and manage cases from inception to resolution.
- Negotiate with prosecutors and other legal representatives.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to reckless driving and DUI.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Virginia.
- No experience necessary, but 1-3 years of experience in criminal defense preferable with a focus on reckless driving and DUI cases
- Strong understanding of State DUI and Traffic laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently.
