Summary of Position:
Associate Attorneys are responsible for legal oversight of all aspects of the firm's legal practice. The responsibilities of the qualified candidate will include but are not limited to, handling legal work related to bankruptcy case proceedings and providing guidance to clients and staff.

Description of Duties:
  • Manage cases from assignment to conclusion.
  • Draft court pleadings, legal memos, and correspondence
  • Oversee discovery matters including depositions, filings, and motion defense
  • Independently represent our clients at court hearings (live and telephonic) and mediation
  • Conduct internal and external training
  • Communicate directly with the firm's clients

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 1-5 years of jurisdiction experience in foreclosure and REO-related litigation
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of California and admitted in all Federal District Courts within the state or willingness to get admitted
  • Member in good standing with the California Bar Association
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • Ability to organize and manage caseload
