Description:
Responsibilities:- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial
- Attend court hearings and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
- Perform legal administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong litigation skills with the ability to effectively represent clients in court
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Experience in drafting various legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent workforce management, communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE CALIFORNIA BAR ADMISSION/ABILITY TO PRACTICE LAW IN CALIFORNIA
We are seeking candidates with at least 8 years of experience as a personal injury attorney. UBE licensed litigators highly preferred.
