Description:

An American Law Firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation Group. The candidate would work with our regional and national clients in connection with complex commercial litigation matters including healthcare and media and First Amendment issues.

Qualifications include:

3-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
Experience working with expert witnesses, fact development, taking and defending depositions, and drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions for complex matters
Trial experience is a plus
Clerkship experience is strongly preferred
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
Must be admitted to practice in Georgia or waive admission to the Georgia Bar

Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills; law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills a plus
Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative cross-office team environment
