Description:

A full-service law firm that has been serving clients since 1850. We are seeking a dedicated, motivated attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning (and drafting) and estate administration. Institutional representation, tax, elder law experience, and special needs planning experience, a plus. Lateral attorneys with an existing book of business will be considered but is not necessary. The position can be based in either of our New York City or Uniondale, Long Island offices.

Educational/Experience Requirements
  • JD degree required with excellent academic credentials.
  • Admitted and in good standing in New York; admission to New Jersey bar is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong professional judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients.
  • Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task required.
