Our Chambers USA Band 1 ranked construction team has an opening for a construction associate to support both our litigation and transactional practices. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, preferably working on both litigation and transactional matters in construction. However, candidates with a general business or real estate background will be considered as long as they demonstrate a strong desire to work in the construction industry and learn how to draft and negotiate complex construction transactions. Prior experience in construction management or engineering is a plus. We represent owners, designers, contractors, and project teams on both public and private work utilizing collaborative delivery methods. Our practice is supported by land-use, environmental, real estate, and public agency attorneys. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated and growing construction practice. This position may be based out of any of A Northern California Law Firm five offices and we offer the ability to work remotely in an agile (hybrid) manner within California. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $190,000 and $210,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.
