We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Corporate Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of complex corporate litigation matters, including disputes related to contracts, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder issues, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, extensive litigation experience, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Litigation Management: Oversee and manage all phases of corporate litigation, including pre-litigation counseling, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
  • Case Strategy: Develop and implement effective litigation strategies tailored to each case to achieve favorable outcomes for corporate clients. Provide strategic advice on litigation risks and opportunities.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on corporate law and related legal issues. Analyze and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategies.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests. Ensure all filings comply with court requirements and deadlines.
  • Discovery: Manage the discovery process, including document review, conducting depositions, and responding to discovery requests. Collaborate with experts and other professionals as needed.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, status conferences, and trial proceedings. Present oral arguments, examine witnesses, and advocate for clients' positions.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with corporate clients to provide updates on case status, discuss case strategy, and advise on potential outcomes and risks.
  • Negotiation: Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and high-quality legal representation.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in corporate law and litigation practices. Participate in continuing legal education (CLE) programs and industry conferences.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Admission to the state bar and in good standing. Admission to relevant federal courts is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate litigation, including experience with trial and appellate work.
