Description:

A Global Execution Platform is launching a nationwide program in partnership with the Veteran Administration (VA) to provide comprehensive Guardianship Services. Our program supports caregivers of veterans by educating them on the concept and implications of guardianship, assessing whether guardianship is appropriate for their circumstances, preparing and drafting guardianship petitions, and guiding them through the process of initiating and filing these petitions.

We are seeking attorneys with expertise in Guardianship and an active bar license in Washington to join us as consultants for this initiative. As a consultant attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Reviewing and ensuring all state-specific legal requirements, including the need for additional documents like medical certificates, are met before filing the guardianship petition.
  • Providing detailed instructions to caregivers on how to self-file the guardianship petition, ensuring they understand each step of the process.

Our team will handle all client communications and act as the liaison between you and the caregivers. When we reach out to you to consult on a specific case, you will receive the intake form and all information required to prepare the paperwork. Alternatively, we work with law students who can assist in drafting the paperwork, which you will review to ensure compliance with all relevant state-specific legal requirements.

Requirements:
  • Experience with guardianship
  • Active bar license in the state where you will be consulting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear, concise guidance.
