Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Attorney at An Immigration Attorney in Chicago, Illinois. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for handling various immigration cases, including VAWA petitions, waivers, green card applications, H-1b visas, PERM applications, and other immigration matters. The Immigration Attorney will provide legal advice to clients, prepare and review legal documents, represent clients in immigration court, and stay updated on immigration laws and policies.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Immigration Law, Immigration Issues, and Legal Issues related to immigration
- Experience in handling various types of immigration cases, including VAWA, waivers, green cards, H-1b visas, PERM applications, etc.
- Knowledge of visa processes and requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active state bar membership
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
