Client Representation:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in immigration matters, including but not limited to family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, and deportation defense.
Case Management:
- Manage a diverse caseload and ensure the timely and effective handling of cases.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and file applications with government agencies.
Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients to understand their immigration goals and keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of legal options and potential outcomes.
Legal Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each case.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to achieve efficient case management.
- Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm on complex cases and legal strategies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and accuracy.
