A Financial Services Company is seeking an exceptional hands-on litigator to join its best-in-class team. You will direct litigation strategy, work closely with our business leaders, and grow in your skill.

The successful candidate will defend A Financial Services Company in a wide-range of complex litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters by:
  • Working closely with business partners to set and employ litigation strategy to drive cases to an efficient resolution through settlement or trial.
  • Investigating facts and identifying and preparing fact and expert witnesses
  • Preparing submissions to courts, arbitration panels and regulators.
  • Providing practical and thoughtful advice on business initiatives.
  • Selecting and actively partnering with outside counsel in all aspects of the litigation to defend the Company's interests.

Qualifications:
  • JD, bar admission in any state
  • 6 – 12 years of related experience within the litigation group of a top law firm or corporation.
  • Experience with complex litigation, preferably with litigating class actions, actions under state insurance laws, state and federal securities laws, and large-scale arbitrations.
  • Trial or arbitration experience preferred.
  • Experience in conducting regulatory and internal investigations preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance, securities, and broker-dealer law preferred.
  • Professional, energetic, team-player with positive attitude and outlook.
  • Excellent judgment, persuasive writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate with and advise senior management.
