Your role in the mission:
An Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across various functions, including commercial contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and advisory services.

This role requires a strong understanding of commercial law and contracts and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments within the organization.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various issues, including regulatory changes, compliance requirements, and risk management.
  • Support the Contracts Manager to oversee a variety of contracts and agreements to ensure they align with company policies and legal standards.
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Provide guidance on risk management and compliance issues.
  • Offer legal advice to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial transactions, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
  • Support the resolution of legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Work closely with the procurement and supply chain departments, advising on any legal matters

What You'll Need:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Membership in good standing with the bar association of the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or commercial law environment.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
