Description:
Duties:- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including trials, hearings, and mediations
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Prepare for and attend court appearances and depositions
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on case strategy and preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Proven experience as a litigation attorney, preferably with a focus on civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures related to litigation
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
