Description:

An Environmental Law Firm seeks a candidate with four to six years of experience to join our firm at one of our seven offices. The ideal candidate must have substantive litigation experience, with a desire to become a leader in cases involving challenging legal and expert environmental issues.

All candidates should have a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state jurisdiction and the ability to obtain licensure in the District of Columbia within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental statutes, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and CERCLA.
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work well under deadlines, and ability to assume significant client responsibilities.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
