Our Dallas-based firm is seeking a Commission Based Personal Injury Attorney where the majority of your day will be spent litigating cases. Growth should be expected for years both personally and professionally.We offer a unique business model with unparalleled support that rewards your hard work with a generous commission only structure. Pay structure is 30% of attorney fees generated and kept in-house from his or her cases. After ten years of working with this structure, we have learned that the first three months are the most difficult months for a new attorney at office to earn within. That said, we provide a salary for that time period of $7,000.00/month.
We'll provide the staff needed, the space to work, a private office, and the cases sufficient to succeed in the practice of Plaintiff's personal injury. We also provide education, advice, etc one may need to feel comfortable in this venture. Your success is ours, and vice-versa.
Average Annual Commissions: $65,000.00 to $220,000.00
Experience:
Personal Injury: 1+ years (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a case load of 75-100 cases
- Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions
- Continually communicate with clients, internal and external stake holders
- Accurately maintain case management data in Filevine (case management database)
- Depositions, mediations
- Prepare trial scripts and manage paralegal trial preparation
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents
- Proficient in preparing discovery responses
- Detail oriented with a focus on grammar and language skills
- Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation
- Team player with professional appearance and a can do attitude
- Excellent computer and analytical skills are also essential.
