Description:

A Top Ten Cleveland-Based Law Firm is seeking a skilled mid-level/senior associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience specializing in finance-focused commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage commercial real estate finance transactions, independently, with minimal partner supervision, from inception to completion.
Draft and negotiate complex loan documents and agreements for transactions involving multiple lenders and financing sources.
Oversee due diligence, including title and survey matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client and legal requirements.
Provide guidance and supervision to junior associates and paralegals on assigned tasks, delegating responsibilities as needed.
Participate and contribute to the acquisition and disposition portion of the transactions as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, demonstrating proficiency in both borrower and lender-side representations.
Proven ability to independently manage complex transactions with minimal partner oversight.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in commercial loan documentation and intercreditor agreements.
Familiarity with tax credit transactions is highly desirable.
Experience in commercial real estate acquisitions and depositions is highly desirable.
