The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate law, with a proven track record of handling complex transactions and providing strategic legal advice. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate agreements and contracts.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and analyze title reports, surveys, and zoning issues.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and land use matters.
- Handle real estate litigation and dispute resolution as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends and legal developments affecting real estate law.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve client objectives effectively.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing with relevant licensing authorities.
- 3-5 years of experience practicing real estate law at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong understanding of property law, contract law, and finance as they relate to real estate transactions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
