About the role:
As Associate Counsel of Product and Regulatory, you will play an important role in supporting An Insurance Company's insurance operations. This role reports to the Senior Counsel for Insurance Operations and provides a great opportunity to develop valuable subject matter expertise within a highly regulated industry.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in maintaining corporate and individual insurance licenses
- Conduct ad hoc legal research on important topics impacting the insurance and healthcare industries
- Assist in drafting operational policies and procedures
- Prosecute insurance product rate and form filings
- Assist in preparing external reports to regulators
- J.D. degree and membership in good standing with a state bar
- 1-2 years of prior legal experience preferred
- Impeccable organization and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn the operational nuances of an innovative health insurance business
- Legal research experience
- Experience with Excel, SQL, or other data management tools
