Description:
What we are looking for:The ideal candidate will have:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
- 3-5 years of legal practice, ideally with experience at a reputable law firm or in an in-house counsel role, with a focus on corporate law, governance, and complex commercial agreements. Experience in construction, leasing, finance, and airports/aviation is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft succinct, effective documents.
- The capability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality work.
- A strong understanding of corporate governance principles and legal compliance requirements.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research, contract management, and risk management tools.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels.
What you will do:
