Description: A Full-Service Law Firm has an opening in the New York, NY office for a non-partnership track litigation associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of litigation experience particularly in the aerospace, aviation, and insurance industries. This is a full-time position but affords a more predictable work schedule than a traditional associate position. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience with aviation or complex products liability.
- Experience with airport premises liability.
- Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
