Ideal Candidate:
We have a need for an Employment and Labor Associate in the San Francisco, CA office with wage and hour experience required.

The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 3 - 5 years of experience in the following areas:

Wage & hour class actions (including class opposition strategy, fact development, briefing, argument) required
Employment law compliance advice and counseling
Litigation, specifically trade secrets and employee mobility, wrongful termination, employment discrimination and harassment, whistleblower
Preparation and negotiation of employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment and personnel related contracts, policies
Conducting due diligence, and drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and aspects of purchase and merger agreements in the context corporate M&A transactions

Outstanding research and analytical skills and strong writing skills are imperative.
Comfort in dealing directly with clients and the ability to effectively balance multiple projects and to be responsive to client advice and counseling requests is expected.
You will exercise sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters.
Excellent communication skills are key: ability to attentively listen, actively engage, and concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters will add to your success on our team.
Strong academic credentials are highly valued.
Bar Admission in California is required for application to the position.
