A New York City's Oldest Law Firm Fund Finance team is seeking staff attorneys in our Charlotte, NC, and New York, NY, offices. 2024 law school graduates will be considered. The Fund Finance Group represents financial institutions providing financing to private equity funds. As a staff attorney in the Fund Finance Group, your responsibilities will include reviewing and answering certain diligence questions with respect to a private equity fund's organizational documents, such as the limited partnership agreement and any letter agreements entered into between the private equity fund and an investor. With the guidance of senior members of the deal team, you would also be responsible for drafting documentation to memorialize the loan to the private equity fund and the security pledged in support of such loan. The position requires strong time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage responsibilities on multiple engagements.
