Summary: Attorneys designated at A General Practice Business Law Firm as Of Counsel attorneys will join a supportive working environment with a firm having a national platform while handling sophisticated matters for some of the nation's largest and most innovative companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Of Counsel at the Firm include, but are not limited to:
  • Case Review and Legal Research:
  • Reviewing legal issues related to client matters.
  • Conducting thorough legal research to understand in depth the elements of the matter.
  • Analyzing official documentation.
  • Legal Representation and Strategy:
  • Advising and representing clients.
  • Formulating effective legal strategies.
  • Seeking timely and cost-effective solutions to manage legal matters.
  • Exploring alternatives to trial, such as negotiation and settlements.
  • Court Appearances and Advocacy:
  • Representing clients in court hearings.
  • Arguing motions on their behalf.
  • Taking the lead in complex, strategic, or sensitive negotiations.
  • Mentoring and Leadership:
  • Providing guidance to other attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Sharing expertise and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Statutory Compliance and Document Management:
  • Managing legal documents.
  • Reviewing options for various strategies.
  • Handling required filings in various courts and administrative agencies.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:
Attorneys must have worked a minimum of 5 years as an Associate Attorney, a combined 5 years as an Associate Attorney or Judicial Clerk or generate sufficient WAR/BAR to support the Of Counsel status.

Attorneys must possess strong analytic, writing and communication skills.
