We have an immediate opening in our virtual office, The Link, for a Product Liability/Toxic Tort Associate or Senior Counsel with a minimum of three years of experience. Candidates should reside in Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina, have an active bar license corresponding to the state in which they reside, and have experience litigating in state and federal courts. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing and Transportation business unit.
The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of civil litigation in commercial and product liability spaces, including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, engaging in discovery and substantive motion practice specific to Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina state and federal courts. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
